Introducing this versatile hybrid the Getzen 300 Series / Yamaha YTR-4335GS. Many trumpet players rave about the high quality of Getzen valves so I paired this Getzen valve section with a Brand New quality bell made by Yamaha from their intermediate model line YTR-4335GS trumpet. Bell is Silver Plated Gold Brass. Pairing quality valves and bell has made for a very nice result of responsive smooth maneuverable valves and stable center of tone and beautiful Yamaha bell projection and colorful tone. Quality built instruments with a brand new bell for under $1000 is unheard of for a quality step up intermediate semi-pro model trumpet. Pros may even consider this as an affordable and flat out cheap “back up” or doubler if you are an multi-instrumentalist of brass.

For school kids moving up from their first trumpet and into a step up this should be a serious consideration as this has been tweaked and dialed into perform / play well at an affordable price than the typical run of the mill step up intermediate trumpets. You may find this hybrid may be all you need depending on your plans after high school and beyond.
